User pages[edit source]

Why did you delete User:Diagraph01's user pages and block User:Cool Cat?? Jon Harald Søby 09:00, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm also surprised. Could you explain your actions? Thanks, Korg 11:15, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Diagraph01's user page was complete useless, as he had made no other edits to the project, and admitted he couldn't speak the language. Yes, I have accounts on at least 75 language's projects, but I generally don't have a full userpage, just a link to my en account; plus, I actually create the accounts to make an edit or two. If he has no hope in heck of ever contributing, there's no need for his vanity. I've unblocked Cool Cat. I forget what his edits were, but they were likely also vanity based. Simply, I'm trying to run as tight a ship as possible, so that if we ever do manage to get IK speaking members, they don't have needless distractions. -- Zanimum 14:34, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for having unblocked Cool Cat. However, I do not see good reason to delete these userpages. Who did you say that he'll never participate to the project?
Please undelete the following pages: User:Diagraph01, User talk:Diagraph01 and User:Sirius Zwarts Bot. Thank you, Korg 01:51, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
I've undeleted Sirius Zwarts Bot, now that I see it controls interwiki links. However person who speaks Japanese and only a little English is likely never to learn IK, and the three of us have vandalism covered. What is the use of creating vanity accounts? Jimbo doesn't even have accounts, on some of the largest languages. -- Zanimum 17:45, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Today's vandalism: Special:Contributions/Hersehigh[edit source]

Please remove all the crap added by User:Hersehigh. You might also want to block this vandal. --Johannes Rohr 12:18, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks[edit source]

Great! A little is better than nothing. You're our second contributor that knows the language.-- Zanimum 19:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Main Page[edit source]

Hi Zanimum,

it would be helpful if you (semi-)protected the main page in order to avoid further vandalism. Greetings, --Pill 14:05, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

No, please protect fully, see history, Ikanto seems no be not very fluent in your language. IMHO you could block him as a vandal too. Dundak --217.94.28.80 08:42, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Adminstrator[edit source]

Hi, I am learning Iñupiaq, and it looks like this Wikipedia hasn't been updated for a long time, especially the Main page. Could you please make me an administrator so that I can make some edits? Thanks!

Your administrator status on the Inupiaq Wikipedia[edit source]

Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.   You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on the wiki listed above. Since that wiki does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.   If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.   If you wish to resign your rights, you can reply here or request removal of your rights on Meta.   If there is no response at all after approximately one month, stewards will proceed to remove your administrator and/or bureaucrat rights. In ambiguous cases, stewards will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact the stewards.
